“Self-esteem and self-love are the opposite of fear; the more you like yourself, the less you fear anything”

I still have periods of fear and anxiety (especially since becoming a mum and living through the last two years).  However, I still count on my affirmation practice as a great way to calm the negative self-talk.

One final note from me. If you feel fear and anxiety are starting to impact your day to day life PLEASE TALK TO SOMEONE. As a fellow mum, you will probably be tired and sleep deprived which sadly magnifies anxiety. I have been there and sometimes positive statements are just not enough. You can work out a plan and find your own formula for recovery.

There are some really useful tips on the mental health charity Mindโ€™s website about relaxation exercises you can try when anxiety and fear strike.

If you feel like giving meditation a go but donโ€™t know where to start, my last post (right here) might be helpful. Itโ€™s about getting started with meditation when you are busy Mum, you just need ten minutes and a comfy chair. Sounds pretty good?

Donโ€™t be a stranger. We all have our own ways of dealing with fear and anxiety. Have you found your very own anxiety banishing powerful toolset? Let me know in the comments below or even drop me a message if itโ€™s not something you want to share.

Remember
